Many words can be used to describe the amazing location where you'll be staying. Unique is one of them.
Unique for the accommodation itself: you will be staying in a nice Moroccan house with an inner garden and a beautiful rooftop terrace facing the beach and the ocean. This will give you a few nice options for the sunrise and the sunset yoga! You can choose between staying in a comfortable bedroom with a beach or inner garden view, or in a nice and cosy wooden roulotte (beautiful hand to crafted caravan) with a view of the ocean, for those willing to nurture the bohemian part of their soul.
Our bedrooms are nice, cosy and decorated with taste and have an ocean or inner garden view. You can choose either double or single bed configuration. They are located in independent apartments with all modern comfort: broadband Wifi, TV, bathroom + separate toilets and a kitchen for those who prefer to cook for themselves. You can choose either the shared or single occupancy option.
Location
Our place is unique in the area for the location: we are on the beach, and you will realise how unique that is in the area. You will wake up with a full panoramic view of Banana Beach by Banana Village. Its nickname was given by Jimi Hendrix after his visit in the 1960’s due to the numerous banana fields in the valley and the large amounts of bananas sold in the village (which is still the case). Checking the waves on Banana Point and going for a surf couldn’t be easier.

Travelled solo
How did you like the accommodation?
I spent a week at Zen Surf as a solo traveller in April 2016 and it was exactly what I'd hoped it would be: easy, relaxing, fun, active and full of lovely people. I shared a room with another guest for the first three nights - someone who I've stayed in contact with every since - and for the rest of my stay had one of the caravans. The shared rooms are quite small but you're so tired after a day of sun and surf that even a snoring companion isn't a problem! The caravan was the most romantic and idyllic place to stay - it felt very luxurious. The tagines each evening are wonderful, the food got better and better each day. And the owners and staff are lovely, very relaxed and very helpful. Yoga on the roof terrace very evening was the perfect way to stretch out after surfing and I really noticed an improvement in my ability over the week, helped I'm sure by the surf - the two activities really complement each other. The surrounding area is very calm and interesting - a taste of rural/small town Morocco rather than heavy tourism; I felt very welcome wandering around the local village on my own and two of us walking back to the house late at night felt completely safe. For a beginner, the surfing instruction was great and I really welcomed the daily setup - surfing all morning and collapsing on the beach with lunch and a book once I was tired. As the week went on we all found we had more energy and would surf all afternoon too. I came to Zen Surf on the recommendation of a colleague, and have since recommended it to several more people. I would have no doubts about going back.

How did you like the accommodation?
We went as a family to Zen Surf Morocco and were embraced right from the start by being picked up at the airport. Right after we were taken care of by the lovely hosts Nico, Tamara and Laila. They made sure we had all we need, either with surf equipment or with information about trips and sites. But the best experience of all was sitting down at dinner and having a wonderful time and good conversations with other guests and great traditional food. Thank for letting us having the most relaxed trip ever.
How were the surf lessons?
The surf coach Hussein was very attentive and took great care of my two boys. He always stayed with them in the water and kept providing good advice. The surf material is in great condition and it was so pleasant to lie down enjoy the Moroccan sun after the lesson. Top coaches for a great surf school.

How did you like the accommodation?
My girlfriend and I stayed a week with Nico and Tamara and really enjoyed a relaxing vacation. The place is a nice little "oasis" in the town. The typically Moroccan food was great and very fresh, and it was no problem getting gluten free and vegetarian dishes for my girlfriend. Nico & Tamara are the most helpful hosts and will make sure you get everything you need to spend great holidays.
The rooms/apartments are nice with a cosy interior and have everything you need, and there's a great rooftop terasse with a nice view. Nico and Tamara were also helpful to give some pointers about the area, like if you want to go to a hamam, get a massage, the local marked etc.
The waves were quite small the week we were there, but Nico still managed to find some spots that worked - and the boards he has for rental are in nice shape and at a good price. So all in all we enjoyed staying there and will recommend it.
How were the surf lessons?
Nico was my surf guide that week and he always made sure we make the most of the surfing conditions. Although the waves were small, he used his deep knowledge of the area and always found swell magnets to get us surfing the best waves.

How did you like the accommodation?
It was my first time in Morocco and I have to say that it was amazing. I went to this beautiful country for surfing and I decided to stay at Zen surf Morocco Surf & yoga camp, right in front of the ocean. The camp is wonderful and I really enjoyed spending my time here. this is perfect place where to go on holiday. The meals are tipically moroccan, really delicious and very abundant as well. The owners,Nicolas and Tamara, are very nice, kind and helpful and they will be able to give you all the informations you need. I also spent a sunset surf session with Nicolas at Banana point, the surf spot just in front of the house, and we had a lot of fun. During the free time you can have Yoga lessons which are really relaxing for the mind and body.
I will surely go back to Morocco and spend my time at Zen surf Morocco Surf & yoga camp again.
I really recommend it!!

How did you like the accommodation?
This was the third time that I traveled to Morocco and that I spent most of my time at Zen Surf.
This is not because I do not like seeing new thing but because it is a wonderful sensation to feel at home as soon as you step through the front door of this beautiful, colorful and clean Morrocan house, being welcomed by the two cute dogs of the owners as well.
This place is not only situated perfectly to surf all of the famous spots around Aourir but also to go to places further away like Immesouanne or Mirleft. So you can make sure that something knew is to be discovered there all the time.
The already very high standard of the house and the staff has been improving even more with delicious mint-tea and other things being served all day long and with the beautiful yoga-terrace where you can also hang out in the sun after returning from a session full of perfect Moroccan waves.
Tamara, Nico and their friends will try to help you with every problem that might come up and have very good advice, be it about surfspots, about other places to go, or just about going to the souk and buying exotic wares.
Even though I've been travelling quite some time all around this planet, this is one of the places I love the most and to which I will always come back.
