The Wild Coast Casa Surf Lodge is a spacious, 3 story family style home with loads of space to relax and enjoy special times together. It is set in a private, secure, sea facing estate with direct access from our forested boardwalk to an excellent surfing and fishing beach. It is a short 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk to the stunning Glen Eden beach and lagoon.
This spacious house which comfortably sleeps up to 22 people, has 8 bedrooms of which 6 have sea views displaying awesome Indian Ocean views. A protected, undercover entertainment area offers ocean views with a braai area leading out to a spacious deck with stack away doors that can be opened up to allow nature in.
There is a secluded, private back garden with an outdoor shower (perfect for after those beach visits) as well as a fire to pit and outside seating area.

Location
Casa Surf Lodge – Wild Coast is located on the beautiful east coast resorts, 25 km outside of East London. (A part of the Jikeleza Route) Wildlife, adventure & leisure activities, as well as excellent fishing & surfing are on your doorstep. Whale & dolphin sightings are common and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your holiday home.
You can have it all in the malaria free Wild Coast; magnificent swimming and surfing beaches, (Queensberry Bay, Yellowsands and Glen Eden beaches are all within comfortable walking distance) excellent sea and estuary fishing off the rocks, big 5 game encounters (Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve), quad biking, abseiling, mountain biking and sunset river cruises, (Areena Riverside Resort) abundant wildlife, adventure and leisure activities are all on offer within a 15km radius of the house.

Extras:
There is the option to have the lodge serviced for a fee of R200. Our gardener is available to work once a week to ensure all outdoor decks, windows and barbecue areas are clean for your enjoyment.

Being blessed with a coastline littered with a variety of uncrowded surf breaks, ranging from A-framing beach breaks to solid point and reef breaks. Waves all year round and most importantly being able to surf in all kinds of winds is a big bonus. "Nahoon Reef has been called the Haleiwa of South Africa."

Surf Lessons we offer:
Kids Surf Lessons
We offer lessons for kids aged 7 and upwards (our only requirement, is that they are able to swim) we request parents to be on hand at all times. We take 2 - 6 children at a time, with no less than 3 instructors in the water at any given time.
Beginner Surf Lessons
Our Lessons are 2 hours long, with 1 instructor to every 3 students. We have 3 Specific beach break locations that we use and students will never go above waist high in the water. Wetsuits and surfboards are provided (please pack sunblock and refreshments).
Students will be taught water safety, paddling and final how to stand. Transport can be arranged( surcharge may apply).
Intermediate Surf Lessons
We have 4 breaks that are best suited for this level of surfing and there will be a ratio of 1 instructor to every 4 surfers. 2 sessions lasting 1 hour each.We will provide you with wetsuits, surfboards and transport at the locations. Surfers will be taught on how best to use rip currents and how those rip currents affect waves along with the weather.
Surf Guide
Transport is provided and schedule is disgusted the night before. We only take a max of 6 people on these trips. Due to the level of waves and location, surfboard will be an additional cost, but must inquire before booking. We cover approximately 20 breaks and will always do our best to put you in the best surf possible.
