We improve your skills and expand your awareness of the ocean but we also take you under our wing to show you the true colors of Costa Rica.

Even more than the surf trips, the exploration, the nature hikes, it is a chance to learn about permaculture and medicinal plants, dive into a variety of holistic practices of Nosara, and meet the local community.

Doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner, we’re all learning in our own way and everybody gets what they need.

Location

This is a quiet isolated space. Come here to see monkeys and bliss out in the tranquility of nature.
The closest shop is about 2 kms away. Guiones, Nosara Center and Ostional are all about 5 kms away.
Our only neighbor is the Costa Rica Yoga Spa located further down the mountain.

You can rent the place out for yourselves or join our immersive, all to inclusive 5 to day retreats.

The Place

Hidden high up in the jungle is the Surf and Nature Refuge. Nestled on a remote mountainside halfway between the beaches of Guiones and Ostional we are blessed with an ocean view and the tranquility of nature all around. Sliding louvres allow for versatile options, there are no walls sealing the inside of the house from the outside so the view is 360 degrees of ocean and jungle.

This is for surf and nature enthusiasts looking for a real encounter with nature; birds, butterflies all fly through the house and monkeys hang out in the trees!

There is one main bedroom and a loft in the house for sleeping in. There is also a small separate rancho with a double bed on the property for those looking for more privacy from the main house.

It's a great place to disconnect, turn your phone off, connect with nature and slow things down. We are off-grid with solar power and natural ground water. There is nothing but nature all around - you will see monkeys, birds, and all kinds of local flora and fauna!

We are also a growing permaculture project and give you access to whatever garden produce is available! We have a fully equipped professional surf school and run our own immersive surf retreats and lessons.

There is also a 4ft skate ramp for those wanting to skate! The space is unique, raw, and shockingly beautiful.
