Location

Bidart is a small village in the Bask Country, a jewell ;)
It has 7 beaches !!
The surf shack is only 10 minutes walking to the first beach.
Bidart itself is just next to Biarritz (5minutes by car), the European capital of surf !
The Spanish border is only 30 minutes away by car ! Public transport is good to get there for a day of shopping and fooding in the beautiful San Sebastian.

The Place

A Typical Bask Villa, with garden, a wooden Sundeck, hammocks to chill outside.
The nearest surfspot and beach is within walking distance (700m).

JOYU SURFSHACK, has 5 rooms :
3 double with queen-size beds en-suite with shower, toilet and sink.
2 shared rooms with 4 comfortable and solid bunk beds.

Enjoy the garden, best chilling spot before or after a surf session.
A fresh, healthy and homemade breakfast is included, every morning from 7:30 to 9:30.

How did you like the accommodation?

     

Spent a great week at Joyu, great place with a great, friendly atmosphere and very conveniently located close to a lot of surf spots and to all convenience. I took the full board “surf guiding” package and it was awesome, Geoffrey made sure to take us to the right surf spots, at the right tides and away from crowds, while Jutta kept us full with delicious and healthy meals. Can’t wait to go back!
