Location

Set in a pine forest with only trees and sand dunes between us and the beaches.4km south of Hossegor center and the great night life,we are perfectly located for a great nights sleep and a quiet surf.The Surf Camp has only recently been built,so it does not show on the Google map.Biarritz is 30mins south and a day trip to Spain is only 40 mins away.The glorious Pyrennees mountains are 30mins inland.

The Place

Recognized by Surf Europe magazine as one of Europe`s top five Surf Camps in 2001.With a history in Pro Surfing,we now offer the true surfing lifestyle to all levels of surfers.

We can accommodate 15 guests in 2 modern house`s ,the main house has shared rooms upstairs,with large social kitchen and lounge downstairs and the 2nd more private house at the back of the large garden is where we have 3 private double`s sharing a second kitchen and lounge.The garden has 2 BBQ areas,slack line,solar showers,table tennis.yoga mats etc..

How did you like the accommodation?

     

The accommodation was great with a super friendly atmosphere among the staff and guests. Great place to hang out post surf. Nice dorms and bathroom.

A 10 minute walk to the nearby village.
Far from the beach, but since transport along with the gear was provided this wasn't an issue.

Delighted with my stay.

How did you like the surf lessons?

     

Had a chat with Paul about the conditions and what kind and surfing I wanted to do and he hooked me up with a board.

Transported us to and from the beach. When there he filled us in on the different breaks on the beach and gave us some advice.

Carefully picked which time we'd go each day to suit the conditions to the group, was appreciated as we went when we should rather than when would have been convenient.

After choosing the most appropriate spot each day,Paul will take you to the surf and guide you through the first stages of your surfing future.The aim here is to bring up confidence and a understanding of water movement,wave choose,paddling and the "pop up".

Intermediate Surf Lessons

We will choose the most suitable waves each day.Take you to the surf and advice on any questions or individual needs.Learning top to bottom movement and power turns.

Advanced Surf Lessons

At this level we focus on physical and mental preperation for contest,nutrition and physical training.

Surf Guide

All our surfing is guided.We choose the best spots,daily considering swell size,tide,wind,etc...Giving advice all day at the beach and all evening at the House.
