Location

Saint Girons Plage is located in the southwest French Atlantic coast. This is is one of the best surfing spot for all levels: beginners, intermediates and advanced surfers. This is the ideal destination to start surfing and improve your skills during your stay; with a pleasant climate all year round, miles of fine sandy beaches and exceptional waves. You will find a relaxed lifestyle, respectful of the environment.

Perfectly located between ocean and forest, the department of Landes is the ideal destination for your holiday. 20 km away, you can visit the courant d’Huchet, a natural reserve also called the "Little Amazon" for the richness of its fauna and flora. You cal also discover Hossegor, the European surf capital or Biarritz in the Basque Country. Spain is also a very good plan: you can do a one to day to trip to San Sebastian to enjoy the a wide variety of “pintxos » in the tapas bars.

The Place

An unique Surf House on the dune, just 2 minutes by foot from the beach, dedicated to adults. You will learn or improve surfing in an amazing surf spot in the South West of France, in Les Landes.

Divided into two identical houses, just 5 minutes walking from the surf spot, each house, with a superficie of 100 m2, can accommodate up to 8 guests in 2 rooms for 2 people and 1 bunk bed room for 4 people, all sharing 2 comfortable bathrooms and 2 cabinets. There is a fully equipped kitchen with shared fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, micro-onde, coffee maker, toaster, etc. A big living room with a large TV, as wells as a nice covered terrace to chill with dining area, deckchairs and barbecue.

There is a garage with a large storage and washing-machine.

A lot of space to chill and relax!

Surf lessons, guiding & equipment is all available on site. Everything morning you will enjoy a typical French breakfast with bread, butter, jam, honey, eggs, ham...

The St Girons Surf House offers an authentic and relaxing experience between forest and sea for who wants to dive into Nature, enjoy surfing and its incomparable lifestyle.

Surf Lessons we offer:

Beginner Surf Lessons

Our lessons are 2 hours per day and includes surfboard and wetsuit. We will pick you up from the St Girons Surf House and take you to the beach by foot. There is 1 instructor for 8 people maximum. You will lear everything from standing techniques to turning and finally paddling outside and learning how to catch "green" waves.

Intermediate Surf Lessons

We will pick you up from the St Girons Surf House and take you to the best waves by foot. Our lessons are 2 hours per day and includes surfboard and wetsuit. There is 1 instructor for 8 people maximum. With this course, you will get more confident on an unbroken wave, you will improve your paddling and you will catch more green waves and maybe move to a smaller board.

Advanced Surf Lessons

We will pick you up from the St Girons Surf House and take you to the best waves by foot. Our lessons are 2 hours per day and includes surfboard and wetsuit. There is 1 instructor for 8 people maximum. With this course, you will learn to do critical turns or surf from top to bottom.

Private Surf Lessons

There is an additional cost for private surf lessons for all levels: beginners, intermediate or advanced.

Payment

  • A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • Your balance is due to the property 28 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 28 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
