Location

Located less than 100 meters from the beach gives you easy access to your surf lessons and for when you want to practice your surfing skills or just chill out at the beach.

We are sure you will love this location and all the lively activity in Poppies 1 lane.

Some of the places nearby are the airport reef's for surfing, Beachwalk Shopping Center is a 5 minute walk, Kuta night clubs are a 15 minute walk. Legian Beach is also close by whilst Seminyak nightlife, cafe's and shopping is approximately 15 minutes by car/motorbike, Uluwatu 35 minutes & Canggu 30 minutes by car (all depending on traffic conditions which can get busy at times)

The Place

Whilst undertaking the Stoked Surf Bali program you will be staying at the Kuta Puri Hotel in the iconic Poppies Lane 1, right in the heart of Kuta.

The Kuta Puri has beautiful gardens, large spacious rooms, two swimming pools, spa and restaurant.

It is surrounded by shops, restaurants, beach bars and only a few minutes walk to the large Beachwalk shopping center.

Instructors

Froggy

Kuta and Legian beach are known worldwide as providing some of the best beach breaks around, suitable for both beginners and more experienced surfers. The warm tropical waters and consistent waves make this a great place to learn. All with easy access to great restaurants, bars, shopping centres and great venues to hang out at the beach.

Main Surf Beach: Kuta/Legian Beaches between March-November. Serangan December-February

Surf Lessons we offer:

Kids Surf Lessons

Kids lessons for 6+ year olds – 15 years. Instructor Student Ratio 1:2. If there are more than one children under 10 years of age you may need to pay an additional $15 for a second Instructor OR if a supervising parent is present, we may be able waive the need for a second instructor. Please contact us if you wish to discuss. Includes surfboard, vest, drink, pick up/drop form most nearby places.

Beginner Surf Lessons

Group lessons are suitable for those that have no surfing experience or done little surfing. Instructor: Student ratio is 1:4. Our aim is to have fun & provide you with the skills you need to stand up & surf safely. Lesson are 2.5 hours with a natural progression of skills in lessons for those that choose a multiple lesson package. Includes surfboard, vest, drink, pick up/drop most nearby places.

Intermediate Surf Lessons

If you are an intermediate surfer wanting to develop take your skills to the next level, then this is the lesson for you. We will place you with one of our senior instructors who will select the best waves (reef or beach break) and provide expert advice on all aspects of your surfing. Video review also available. Lessons 2.5 hours with no more than 2 participants with each instructor.

Private Surf Lessons

Private surf lessons are available for one or two participants.
Includes surfboard, vest, drink, pick up/drop form most nearby places.

Surf Guide

Bali is our backyard, we know exactly where and when to go.
Understanding the local conditions and finding the right waves requires years of experience.
The best surf needs all the elements to come together: swell (including swell size, direction and period), tide and wind direction. Whilst no one can guarantee surf, our guides have the knowledge to give you the best chance of success.

  • A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • Your balance is due to the property 14 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 14 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
