The Place

Riads are incredible places to stay. You might not even know you are looking at a Riad even if you are right in front of one. Most of the doors in Morocco are wooden with carvings on them, and many riads are no exceptions. You might be surprised when a simple door opens into a gorgeous guesthouse, giving an authentic Moroccan experience. You will be able to view the intricate Moroccan architecture with its beautiful tile work. There, you will meet kitesurfers from all over the world, creating a very special atmosphere.

Dar Nafoura Mogador is located in the heart of Medina within walking distance of the souks,restaurants, bars and the beach. All its comfortable bedrooms are decorated in traditional Moroccan style with suite bathroom and a separate living space. Our Riad has lounges and a private terrace perfect for relaxing under the sun. Delicious breakfast is included and guests may also have dinner upon request.

How did you like the surf lessons?

     

Bei unserem Trip nach Marocco, sind wir in Essaouira gelandet. Durch Zufall, aber wer glaubt schon an Zufälle? Haben wir Anas getroffen.

Anas ist ein Multitalent. Er ist ein empathisch, humorvoller, geduldiger Lehrer. Er spricht fließend französich, englisch und Deutsch.

Ich habe mich keinen Moment unwohl oder unverstanden gefühlt.
Alles war super verständlich erklärt.

Er verfügt über hervorragendes, gepflegtes Equipment (core).

Die Umgebung ist sehr entspannt. Man fühlt den Spirit von Bob Marley.
Der Strand in Essaouira scheint endlos zu sein.

Sollte mal kein Wind sein (kommt vermutlich kaum vor), könnt ihr am Strand auf Pferden oder Kamele reiten.

Es war mega!!! Anas du bist großartig!!

How did you like the accommodation?

     

Anas arranged comfortable, affordable accommodation for us in a traditional riad in the heart of the Medina. This was slightly away from the main tourist area which meant that life was a little quieter and we felt more a part of the town for the few days that we stayed. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

How did you like the surf lessons?

     

I spent a great week kitesurfing with Anas. Thanks to his top quality instruction I made rapid progress with every lesson while always feeling safe. Anas switched readily between English (for me) and French (for my girlfriend) and demonstrated a keen desire to listen to clients and seek to improve his services for future customers. Overall, his enthusiasm for watersports and proactive attitude made for a great all-round experience which put him in a class above the other options available in both the Essaouira area and further afield.

We will pick you up every morning from your accommodation and take you to the best area for your ability. Each day includes 2 hours lessons. Gear, wetsuits and transport are included. We will learn you all the techniques and safety procedures. We guarantee that you be up the board and riding the waves from your firs day.

Intermediate Surf Lessons

Our lessons are 2 hours per day and includes equipment, wetsuits and transport. We pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the best spots. Ananas will be right there guiding you all the way so you can have fun and progress as much as possible during the time you spend with us.

Advanced Surf Lessons

Our lessons are 2 hours per day and includes equipment, wetsuits and transport.Student ratio is 1:1. We pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the best spots. We believe in quality and our goal is to make sure that our visitors get the best possible experience. Enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere of the surf culture in our beautiful Essaouira.

Private Surf Lessons

Ananas kitesurfing support you with the best equipment, CORE kiteboarding gear, so you can enjoy and develop your kiting.Gear, wetsuits and transport from and to the beach included.

Intermediate Kite Surfing

For those who had a lesson in the past or didn't kite for a while, we offer an intermediate/progress course. If you’re now at the stage where you have learned all the basic skills involved within kite surfing and perhaps need some expert coaching then a refresher lesson is a very effective way to progress quickly. It also means that you can relax and progress at your own speed. Student ration 1:1
