Location

Only within 4 min drive you can reach the nearest beach called Playa Guanico. It is an untouched long stretch beach that offers you nice beach break waves every day. This beach is famous for its empty line to up and easy going waves. Not like other spots in Panama, Guanico is very quite and remote. At beach there is only one panama restaurant & bar, where you can drink and eat at local prices.

For those who like to cook, you can find a little shop that is close to the surfcamp. You reach there 5 min by foot or 2 min by bike.

The Place

El Ranchito Surfcamp is located a hidden place surrounded by palm trees and sounds of jungle. It is a very quite and relaxing place, the perfect spot to get away from the busy tourism and lifestyle.

We have 4 private rooms available, 3 with a shared bathroom and one has its own ensuite bathroom. Addition to that we have 2 bell tents available. Each of them is 12sqm big and furnished with an actual double bed inside.

All those cabanas and tents are spread in our tropical garden. In the middle of the garden there is a typical Panamanian Rancho. Inside there is a full-equipped guest kitchen, where all the guests can use for free. At the same place the guest can chill there in our hammock and relax.

Surf lessons, guiding & equipment is available on site.

We offer additional breakfast for $6 and dinner for $10

To learn how to surf, Guanico is the perfect spot. There gives you long stretched sandy beach bottom that you can feel 100% save. No rocks or any bad currents that makes you feel scared. This allows you to focus on your surfing skills only. On the top, there is no any other people that fight with you for the wave. It will be just you and the ocean.

Kids Surf Lessons

You will learn the basics of surfing in the white foamy wave where the water reaches max. to your chest.
You will be shown the techniques of the right pop-up and how to balance on the surfboard. You will develop your skills and catch as many waves as possible.
It will be fun and you will be able to surf just in no time.

Beginner Surf Lessons
