Location

The old town of Ericeira is an idyllic traditional fisherman village that has everything to offer and is also known for being Europe's first surf reserve.
We’re located 40km north of Lisbon, 30min drive from the airport, in the Northern part of the old town, first line to the beach, next to the São Sebastião Chappel.
From here you can walk to surf, Skate Park, supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Everything is less than 5 minutes away.

The Place

A typical Portuguese building built in the 1950' turned into a Hostel that overlooks the ocean.
The hostel is divided across 3 floors with a mix of double, twin, triple rooms, family rooms, apartments and dormitories. The hostel has shared bathrooms, eqipped kitchens, lounge and dining areas, and outdoor seating spaces.
We provide surf lessons and surf gear rentals as well as tours/experiences upon request, and have storage/cleaning areas for guests' surf equipment.

The town was beautiful, the coastline stunning, the accommodation well located, the accommodation basic - very nice friendly staff, (except for one), nice original details in the hostel - parquet floor, marble stairs, Portuguese tiles - the kitchen Hobs for cooking very substandard - but would probably stay again in a private room and if the cooking facilities were improved - the staff really made it nice though
