Location

From March to July we provide you weekly surf & adventure trips along the South West Coast of Portugal, from Alentejo down to the Algarve. There are over 300kms of coastline that we explore and surf!

We park in private lands, farms and campsites by the coastline, near the ocean.

The Place

The Truck Surf Hotel is an unique Mercedes Truck converted into a motorhome for 8 persons, with an hydraulic system that allows the walls and the sealing to expand. It transforms into an amazing double-decker “hotel on wheels”, giving the space of a home and the best comfort accommodation during your holidays.

This innovative mobile hotel is fully equipped and prepared to ride with you in an unforgettable road trip.
On the first floor we have the living room with couches and a table where you can chill out. There’s also a projector where we can easily watch any footage taken. The kitchen is prepared for self-catering and to cook your meals.
There is a toilet and, on a room next to it, a bathroom where you can have a nice warm shower.
Outside the entrance there’s a lounge terrace, with bean bags to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
Climbing the indoor stairs, we have the upper floor with a main hall to access the 5 rooms – 4 shared double rooms with bunk bed, and 1 private double room with a couple bed.

At the Truck Surf Hotel you can choose either a bed in a shared double room, witch is more economical, or if you’re traveling with your partner we recommend you the private double room.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, key cards and wi-fi.

Surf Lessons we offer:

Beginner Surf Lessons

Our lessons are 3 hours per day and include Surfboard & Wetsuit. We do daily surf trips and take you to the best spots for your level. You will learn everything from standing techniques to turning and finally paddling outside and learning how to catch green waves.

Intermediate Surf Lessons

Every morning we will do surf trips from the Truck to the beach and take you to the best waves in area for you ability. Each day includes 3 hours surf per day, divided into 2 x 1h30 minute sessions. The surfboard and wetsuit are included. We have 1 instructor for every 6 students. You will learn how waves are formed, how weather conditions create the surf and be given the step by step guidance.

Private Surf Lessons

We give you private surf lessons to largely improve your skills while you stay with us. The private lessons are extra package price and cost 50€ per person.

Surf Guide

We offer surf guiding with daily surfaris for those who want to explore the coast and experience the best waves.

Yoga

Every week we do a yoga session to prepare our bodies for surfing.
