Location

Cliff Surf House is located in Santa Cruz (Torres Vedras), 60min north of Lisbon and far away from any kind of mass tourism. This lovely town has kept its local charm and protected the local culture.

During the summer there is always something going on in Santa Cruz: Events, shows, night markets, festivals, sunset long boarding sessions and of course parties. Oh, and you shouldn’t miss the Festa da Póvoa, the yearly village fair with dinner, games, live music and „bailarico“ (dances).

The Place

Cliff Surf House is the perfect place for those who love nature, surfing and authentic Portuguese culture. Our Surfcamp was born of the desire to share the passion for surfing, the ocean and the amazing country of Portugal with every open-minded person.

We have space for 27 guests per week, in 7 double rooms and 2 shared rooms with bunk beds – all with a private and new renovated bathroom.
All of our rooms are kept in a unique and stylish surf atmosphere. Most of our furniture is handmade by our team. All bedding and bath towels are provided. We want you to feel at home while staying with us! We are not one of those mass-tourist places – at our house, everyone will know your name and you will be part of the Cliff family in no time. Cliff is the perfect Surfhouse in Portugal.

We provide Airport Transfers from and to Lisbon and they can be booked in the booking steps.

We love surfing, and our goal is to share this love with you, our guest! Whether it's your first rendezvous with the magic surf lifestyle, or you're already a "hooked" one. Surf lessons take place Monday to Friday.

Surf Lessons we offer:

Beginner Surf Lessons

Our surf lessons are 2 hours long. Included is wetsuit and surfboard, as well as a snack. Meeting point is at the camp and then we go all together at the same time to the spot. Our ratio is 5 students per instructor.

Intermediate Surf Lessons

Intermediate surf lessons are 2 hours long and include surf equipment. The ratio instructor/students is 1:4. Meeting point is at the camp and then we go all together at the same time to the spot. The first lesson is for the coaches to evaluate your skills.

Private Surf Lessons

Private lessons need to be booked in advance. We offer lessons for 1 or 2 persons.

  • A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • Your balance is due to the property 3 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 3 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
