10 Days Surf & Yoga Package - Mellow Surf Camp in Ahangama, Sri Lanka

Location

When you come to Sri Lanka you’ll find it to be a place of life abundant with rich culture, the rainforest, the desert, and of course, it’s mellow waves. While there are advanced surf spots in Sri Lanka, the hostel is named after the soft, slow, glassy waves, which feels like a gentle, compassionate close friend—just like what you’ll experience in the hostel.

The hostel is right in front of the beach. There is a main reef break where you get the best consistent waves in the island called the Rock. But also there is a beach break for more beginners to practice basic. There are several other different spots for different levels and boards from beginners&intermediate levels to longboard nose riders and barrel seeker shortboarders.

The town centre is 15 min walk and 5 min tuktuk ride where you can find atm, fruit and vegetable market, supermarkets, pharmacies etc.

This location offers you to have nice dinner in fancy restaurants but also humble and enjoy good budget food. There are nice bars and restaurants in the area to hang out. But the beach is always peaceful and has the best sunset.

The Place

Mellow brings together a like minded community that shares the joy of riding waves, meditating, practicing yoga, trying new things and embracing the life.
We can accommodate groups up to 38 people. We have 6 double rooms, 3 single rooms, 1 twin room and 2 dorms(6 beds and 8 beds).
We have a fine dining international cuisine restaurant with a beautiful garden and terrace.
Although we have the best restaurant in-house we still wanted to keep our communal kitchen for those who fancy cooking themselves.
We organise special events such as BBQ nights, local food nights, open mic nights etc..

We also provide surf lessons, guiding and surf safari sessions. We have daily yoga lessons inhouse or our nearby yogashala centre.
