Sligo Surf Experience

Kids Surf

Parent/guardian required to sign our surf lesson forms for U 18s (minimum age requirement is seven years). iSurfIreland S'Cool Summer Camps are available June until August and are personally supervised by our head instructors Seamus and Eddie. Our Monday to Friday (10.00 am – 1 pm) package includes activities, beach games, water safety, ocean awareness and eco-walks plus lots of fun in the surf.

Beginner Surf

Our two-hour lessons include all hire of wetsuits and surfboards/bodyboards and take place in waist depth water with a maximum instructor/student ratio of 1:8. After our meet and greet at the beach, novice surfers will be given a talk on water safety before been shown the basics of surfing. Then we hit the water to coach you in the skills you have learned in a safe, structured and fun way.

Intermediate Surf

Already had a beginner surf lesson? Then iSurfIreland can teach you intermediate surfing techniques and manoeuvres. Learn to check current surf conditions and identify possible hazards. Improve your paddle and pop-up techniques so you can catch more waves. Improve your surf stance and learn how to ride waves parallel to the shore. Go beyond the whitewater zone and catch your first unbroken wave.

Advanced Surf

Already catching unbroken waves? Thinking about entering your first surfing competition? Uniquely, iSurfIreland has 15+ years experience coaching at an elite level and is dedicated to improving your surfing whatever your ability. Our level 2 coaches can join you in the surf, employ task surfing and video analysis or formulate a four-week course that will help you identify and achieve your goals.

Private Surf

iSurfIreland provides one-to-one coaching as well as private surf or bodyboard lessons for adults and kids, groups, parties, hens, stags, team building excercises or family fun days. All lessons are given by qualified surfing instuctors in a safe, structured and fun way. iSurfIreland offers multi-lesson discounts, a family package, Hens and Stags deals and a discount for large groups (15+).
