About

Tramore Surf School is based on the beach (opposite the lifeguard's hut on Tramore promenade)

Our team of surf to crazy instructors will guide you every step of the way to becoming the next surf champion! We welcome every expertise level from groms to grannies; no matter what age, experience level or size you are we'll get you catching waves in no time. Our surf dudes and dudettes are fully qualified and fully stoked to make the thrill of surfing easy for you.

Terms

Due to changing tides exact surf lesson start times are not decided until the week of your lesson.
After you book we will contact you the week of your lesson to tell you your lessons start time.

Kids Surf

Our Kids and Teen surf lessons are run daily in the summer time at 10am and 2pm. Kids & Teens have lots of fun when they come for one of our surf lessons. What can be more exhilarating than catching waves and standing up with their friends and making new friends in the process of learning to surf? Our priority is getting you up riding the waves and having fun as quickly and safely as possible.

Beginner Surf

Great for meeting new people and learning some new skills, our public surf lessons are always popular. You're guaranteed 90 minutes in the water. These classes will teach you the basics on the beach before putting it all into practice in the surf. Summer months have public lessons at 2pm everyday, in winter lessons are held over the weekend at the same time each day

Private Surf

1 to 1 Surf Lessons, Just you and the surf coach. This is a great introduction to Surfing. We run private lessons all year round. A very effective way to learn exactly what you need to know in a short period of time.The structure of the lesson is similar to the standard 2 Hour Surf Lesson for groups and is open to all ages.

SUP

Come down to Tramore Beach and try out Stand Up Paddle Boarding and enjoy a relaxing tour around the bay. We run courses for paddle boarding all year. Once you have mastered the basics we can help you choose if you want to buy your own board, or you are welcome to come down and hire any of ours! All the staff here are keen paddlers, so we can give you all the insider's tips and tricks.

We meet you at the beach

Payment

A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
Your balance is due when you arrive at the beach.

Cancelling

To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.

What happens if the surf school cancel the Surf Lessons?

In the rare occasion that conditions do not allow for the surf lesson to go ahead you will be given a full refund.
