La Union Surf School is the premier surf school in the Philippines, certified by ASI (Academy of Surfing Instructors in Australia). We apply the highest safety standards recognized globally within the surf school industry. All our instructors are ASI certified and hold lifesaving and first aid qualifications.

Terms

Due to changing tides exact surf lesson start times are not decided until the week of your lesson.
After you book we will contact you the week of your lesson to tell you your lessons start time.

Kids Surf

We offer special lessons for kids only! 1.5 hour lesson *Kids’ lessons will be combined with adult lessons at 1:3 Coach-Student ratio. Should you have a child that requires special attention and instruction, it is possible for that child to have his/her own personal coach. This will be charged at the 1-day lesson rate. Please note that lesson time is still at 1.5 hrs.

Beginner Surf

1, 2, 3 and 5 day lesson packages 3 hours: Learn basic board skills, paddling, pop up, riding a wave, surf safety and you will be standing and surfing by the end of our lessons! 1:3 coach: student ratio Lesson times are 8am and / or 1pm.

Intermediate Surf

In this course we progress you through levels and skills to have you catching and surfing unbroken waves, taking the drop, riding the wave face, bottom and top turns, positioning in the line up and advanced surf safety. Our coaches will take you to appropriate surf breaks for your level and guide you on the surf conditions. This is the course for anyone serious about becoming a surfer.

We pick you up from a central meeting point and take you to the beach

Payment

A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
Your balance is due when you arrive at the beach.

Cancelling

To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.

What happens if the surf school cancel the Surf Lessons?

In the rare occasion that conditions do not allow for the surf lesson to go ahead you will be given a full refund.
