Come and learn how to surf or improve your skills on a world-famous spot in paradise!
We offer you an all-inclusive package, so you can enjoy your vacation to the maximum and relax. Our ISA certified instructors will follow you daily for a personalized pedagogical support and the lessons do not exceed 4 students per teacher.
You will be staying in a typical Ecuadorian cabin made of wood and bamboo, in a room with private bathroom and terrace with hammock.
Our restaurant El Eden welcomes you every day for breakfast, lunch or dinner, in the heart of Balsa Surf Camp and its lush vegetation. We offer 5 delicious breakfast options, including 1 vegan. You will also find a menu with seafood, a French Ecuadorian fusion and different veggie dishes. Our fresh homemade food is always cooked with love. El Eden is your next gourmet rendezvous!
Here your well-being is our priority, that's why we also offer you in this package daily yoga classes, a special surfer massage and a jacuzzi session!
In order to discover the concept of our surf camp, we offer you a visit to the Balsa workshop where its designer, Rasty, is shaping the wood boards.
A little extra: you will receive a debriefing of your surf day after the sunset with educational analysis of photos and videos of your session.

Location

We are in La Punta, in the quiet side of Montañita, a typical surf and fishing town of Ecuador. Our inn is at 20 meters of the surf spot. .At 2hours 30 of the airport of Guayaquil.

The Place

Balsa Surf Camp is a unique inn in the quiet side of Montañita. This is an oasis of peace with a luxurious garden and typical Ecuadorian cabins made of wood and bamboo.

Julie and Rasty, the creators, welcome you to share their passions for surf, yoga and nature.

We have 13 private rooms from 2 people to 6 maximum and one particularly unusual : our famous combi VW in the top of a cabin as a room ! We offer surf rental and lessons with Balsa wood boards made by Rasty. And also, daily yoga classes in a wonderful open yoga studio where you can also meditate, do stretching, Taï-chi, Acro-yoga etc…

We will welcome you for three meals a day in our restaurant The Eden with a large choice of sea food, fusion of French and Ecuadorian and a lot more!
