The village has everything you need: a currency exchange, pharmacy, barber, food, shops, transportation, and Moroccan friendliness. Tamraght has many restaurants catering to European travellers, some at local prices and some with European prices. Getting around Tamraght, and the Moroccan surf coast in general is incredibly easy. There is a six kilometre promenade from Devils Rock north to Taghazout along the beach that can be walked, biked or skated. The small size of Tamraght means that everything within the village including the beaches are walkable in a matter of minutes.

The waves are consistently good all year round, with some of the best swells in the world. Private Surf Lessons
Private Surf lessons include transport to the best spot depending on the conditions and your level, surf lesson and practice, surf equipment (soft board + wetsuit), packed lunch on the beach. K17
Level: Beginner
This spot is located 17km north of Agadir, hence its name. K17 is a point beach break with a sandy bottom and a few rocks, and is great for beginners.
CroCro
Level: Beginner
The first surf spot you can reach by walking, Croco is one of the most consistent waves in the area. This beach break is a great place to learn to surf in Tamraght.
Devil’s Rock
Level: All Levels
Another point breaking over a sandy bottom, this wave offers a variety of sections and conditions for all levels of surfers and can be tackled by beginners too.
Banana Point
Level: Intermediate
A quality right to hand point break, ideal for intermediate surfers and for those wishing to surf a point break for the first time. With a big swell, it can offer challenging sections for advanced surfers too.
Banana Beach
Level: Beginner
South of Banana Point, close to Aourir, this is a great surf spot for beginners. It offers some long rides, which is why it’s also popular among longboarders.
Killer Point
Level: Advanced
A long right to hander with fast steep sets and long barrels and more swell than Anchor Point. Small waves start at the north end of the cliff with a short left wave, as soon as it gets bigger, long right waves run here. The spot works best during low tide, when you can walk along the cliffs to the first wave section. Outside low tide you have to be prepared for 20 minutes of hard paddling.
Anchor Point
Level: Advanced
One of the best surf spots in Morocco, Anchor Point is one of the classic right to hand point breaks that occur when there is a big north to west swell.
The surrounding 10km area of Taghazout & Tamraght have gained legendary status as a surf mecca and without doubt Morocco's surf capital. There are not many places in the world that have waves accessible to beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers but this area has it all.
Taghazout waves includes the beginner/intermediate surf spots Panaromas & Hash's Point. Further south is the long stretch of beach that leads to the next town of Tamraght, a fantastic learner area with two advanced breaks at the south end Devils Rock & Banana Point.
On the north end of town is Moroccos most famous wave, Anchor Point, a world class long right break. And around this headland is La Source & Killers, another two of Moroccos most reliable & famous waves.
10km further north is the town of Tamri which has a great selection of beginner & intermediate waves as well as a few secret spots.
